The Knysna Lagoon Experience
Nestled along South Africa's famous Garden Route, the Knysna Lagoon is a natural wonder where estuary waters meet the dramatic Indian Ocean. The iconic Knysna Heads - two imposing sandstone cliffs - frame the lagoon's entrance, creating one of the most photographed landscapes in the country.
For centuries, Knysna has been renowned for its oysters, harvested from the pristine lagoon waters. The unique blend of fresh and saltwater creates the perfect environment for these delicacies, making them some of the finest in the world.
Our Serendipity Oyster Cruise takes you on a journey through this stunning waterway, past working oyster farms, luxurious homes, and lush indigenous forests, all while your experienced skipper shares fascinating stories about the area's rich maritime heritage.
